TESTIMONIALS
Matt Ellis, Comverse
Talking in front of a group is not an easy task. Fear of speaking to a group paralyzes many from delivering confident, credible presentations. Whether you make proposals, provide technical training, facilitate meetings, or seek to influence management or customers, this course will help you. This video feedback workshop will give you valuable information from your peers as well as presentation
experts. Many attendees say it is the most powerful development course they have ever attended.
What is Video Feedback Training?
Video feedback training is a powerful tool to help you evaluate and improve your presentation skills. Participants come to the class prepared to give a six-eight minute presentation, which is delivered at the beginning of the first day. This presentation is video-taped and given to you for your review before the second day of the class.
After all the presentations, you will receive feedback from your peers and learn practical information from your instructor on (1) what to do before the presentation; (2) beginning the presentation; (3) the body of the presentation; and (4) the closing of the presentation. On the second day you will repeat your same presentation applying the tools and tips you have learned in the class. The second presentation is also videotaped, allowing you to compare the two. You will be amazed at your own improvement and confidence in your future success.
Training Goals:
- Discover how you can move from nervous to natural.
- Learn how to develop and rehearse your presentation.
- Consider the seven most common approaches to content development.
- Increase telephone skills in the eight most important areas.
- Apply the “airplane” analogy to ensure a smooth takeoff and landing.
- Identify credibility builders during the first three minutes.
- Understand ten keys to effective body language when speaking to a group.
- Utilize various techniques to maintain your audience attention.
- Practice the three keys to closing your presentation.
