TESTIMONIALS

This was a great learning experience. The style of presentation was fabulous. I felt that this is practical at work and also in my personal life. I learned what my weaknesses are and how to adapt to present to different types of people.

Presenting with Style

Once you have mastered presentation skills then you need to master audience skills. You say, “audience skills, what do you mean?” I mean your ability to recognize whom your audience is and how you need to adapt your presentation to build rapport and move toward a decision. This course utilizes the Extended DISC model to teach how to recognize different behavioral styles and how you would communicate, present and sell to this style.

Learning Goals:

  • Discover What the strengths and weaknesses of your presentation style are and what audiences you will turn off and on.
  • Learn to recognize the style of your audience.
  • Consider your audience and adapt your approach to maximize your success.
  • Identify eight strategies for each audience style and master these through hands on exercises.
  • Apply the “airplane” analogy to ensure a smooth takeoff and landing.
  • Identify credibility builders during the first three minutes.
  • Understand how to adapt one-on-one relationships and group presentations by on the style of the other person.
  • Utilize various techniques to maintain your audience attention.
  • Practice the three keys to closing your presentation.
